At €450, the seven-day intensive course is roughly half the price of similar creative writing courses elsewhere in France. If you come as a couple or a group, I can even offer discounts (please contact me for details). In return for your weekly fee, you will receive not only the seven days' intensive group tuition and individual assessments described in THE COURSE, but also the following:

• Dinner at our house, cooked by my culinarily-gifted French wife Odile, on both the first and the final evening.
• Coffee/tea and biscuits, to keep you going during the morning discussion, every day during your stay.
• A light lunch – salads or sandwiches, plus fruit and yoghurts etc – at our house, every day during your stay.
• Aperitifs – drinks and snacks – at our house, every evening during your stay.
• A booklet containing useful and inspiring quotations about writing by various famous authors and a reminder of the main points covered during your seven-day course.
• A signed copy of one of my books.

The fee does not cover transport or accommodation costs, nor does it cover dinner for five of the seven evenings.

The seven-day special themed courses are also €450. This does not include lunch, snacks or aperitifs on the fourth day, but it does include your transport for the day out and our presence as guides all day – and all evening too, if that's what you wish.

The price for the five-day course is €350.

The price for the three-day course is €250.

The fee for the five- and three-day courses do not include dinner on the first day, nor the signed book.

You will need to make a 50% deposit upon reservation, payable in either euros or pounds sterling (the exchange rate on the day of reservation will apply – use our CURRENCY CONVERTER to check it now), by cheque or direct bank transfer, with the balance due 30 days before the course begins.

At the moment we are looking to run courses in the following weeks. Flights go to Pau from Stansted on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, so normally the seven-day course would be Sat-Sat, the five-day course Sat-Thurs, and the three-day course Sat-Tues, but I can work other combinations if necessary.

As I've said, the courses listed below are just a guideline. If you wanted to do the Writing and Golf course in October, for instance, this is perfectly feasible – just contact me and I will do my best to shuffle things around. The sooner you get in touch, the more likely I'll be able to meet your requirements.
